Gift of Grad
Before you give a college graduate a pen, a planner, or a trip to Ikea, consider this smart, and useful, gift:

Mall of America trend specialist Sara Rogers is now offering a personal shopping service for college grads. For $100, young job hunters get a two-hour session with Rogers, who will help them select appropriate business attire, determine what silhouettes work best for their body type, and offer flattering wardrobe solutions. Grads will also get a degree in wardrobe management skills, including how to make the most of their wardrobe budget.

I asked Rogers to get grads started. Here's the advice she offered:
  • Appearance has a lot to do with whether people view you favorably. Unless you're interviewing in a field where a suit would look out of place, wear one.
  • If you have any questions regarding the dress code, call Human Resources and ask anyone that answers the phone.
  • When it comes to accessories, less is more. Do not display personal belief jewelry.
For more information, visit www.sararogers.com. Gift certificates are available!

What a great gift! Sara Rogers is brilliant and this gift is worth every penny (actually, it's worth more than that).
